This page explains what information Hvem Spurgte stores about you, why we do it, and what rights you have.

Who is responsible?

The data controller is [Virksomhedsnavn], CVR [CVR-nummer], [Adresse, postnummer og by], Denmark. You can always write to us at [email protected].

What do we store?

InformationWhy
Your name or nicknameSo the others in the game can see you're in, and who a question is for.
Email, password (encrypted) and sign-in from Apple or Google – only if you save your accountSo you can sign in and keep your subscription on several devices.
Age, gender and your answers in the introduction (how often you party, how many you are, where you heard about us)Age to make sure you're at least 15. The rest to understand who uses the app and make it better. You can always choose “Prefer not to say” for gender.
The questions you write, who they're for, and that you wrote themTo run the game, remove offensive content, and reveal the sender to players with Unlimited (see below).
Games you've played, reports, blocks and feedbackTo run the game and keep it safe.
Device ID, device name, IP address, language and countryTo keep you signed in, protect against abuse, and show the app in your language.
Use of the app, e.g. that a game was started or a question was sent – never the text itselfTo find bugs and understand what works.
Your subscription (plan, status and expiry date)To give you access to what you paid for. We never see your card details – payment goes through Apple or Google.

Are the questions anonymous?

By default, the other players can't see who asked a question. We do store who wrote what. Players on the Unlimited plan can reveal the sender of a limited number of questions per game – only to themselves, and only for questions that have already been shown. We can also see the sender if a question is reported.

Do you use the questions for anything else?

Yes. We may use the text of questions to develop and train features that suggest new questions. We don't use your name or anything else that points to you for this.

Ads

The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. On iPhone we first ask whether the ads may be tailored to you. If you say no, you still see ads, but they aren't targeted based on your activity in other apps. Google processes information under Google's privacy policy.

What is our legal basis?

Who do we share with?

We never sell your information. We use these providers to run the app:

Some of these providers are American. When information is transferred outside the EU, it's based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

How long do we keep it?

We keep your information as long as you have an account. If you delete your account in the app, we immediately remove your name, email, age, gender and sign-in details. Questions you've written remain without being linked to you. Information we're required to keep under Danish bookkeeping law is kept for 5 years.

Age

Hvem Spurgte is for people aged 15 and over.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete and move your information, and to object to or restrict our use of it. Write to [email protected]. You can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet.

Changes

If we change anything significant, we'll tell you in the app. The date at the top shows when the policy was last changed.
